Patrick Chesney is Of Counsel with the firm, and has been an attorney with Holmes Athey since 2016. His work encompasses a variety of practice areas, including complex civil litigation, commercial disputes, securities, regulatory matters, criminal law, class actions, trials, and arbitrations. His former clients include publicly-traded corporations, officers, and directors. Patrick has litigated in state and federal courts, primarily within California, but also in Colorado and New York. He has represented clients in matters before the SEC, CFTC, FINRA, the California Board of Accountancy, the California Department of Real Estate, and the California Department of Insurance.

Patrick is a graduate of Pomona College (B.A., 2003, Politics) and University of California, Hastings College of the Law (J.D. 2009). At Hastings, Patrick participated in moot court competitions, and was Lead Executive Editor at Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly.

Prior to joining the firm, Patrick was an associate with Gallo LLP on matters including consumer class actions, commercial litigation, and employment disputes.
